Its eight frames per second continuous shooting speed and highly flexible AF system might even make it a consideration for sports photographers with a lower budget.

The EOS 7D's capabilites and recent price drop make it also seem to be excellent next to its most direct rival in the fan bracket of the market, the Nikon D300S. It offers a higher nominal resolution and maximum sensitivity, better movie mode specification and marginally swifter continuing shooting speed than its Nikon rival. Also Canon 7D DSLR repair service is most often a little more affordable than the same repair for a Nikon camera. In a nutshell, the Canon EOS 7D is a wonderful camera and definitely worth the investment!
